The origin of the dream and inspiration for something totally new.

Starting a business never dawned on me until recent years. Growing up I always had some form of camera whether it be photographs or video. My dad would let me play with the work cameras he had access too. The first time I remember being inspired by a photograph of my own was when I was around 11 years old. Family friends of ours came to visit from Florida and I vividly remember taking a pretty awesome photo of their youngest son. That perked the interest of the adults in my life and that partially sparked my flame. My love for photography grew as the years past. Traveling within and out of the country gave me opportunities to expand my photographic horizons and offered me amazing views and experiences resulting in photos which I am proud of to this day. A few years ago film was introduced to me and on a whim I splurged on brand new video equipment (and by 'splurged' I mean spent my entire tax refund on it.)
Taking a job at the restaurant where I currently work solidified my decision to follow my dream.
At this point in my life I was still using my smartphone as the source of my photographs. I constantly heard how great my photographs were however many of those statements were immediately followed by comments about how easy it is to take a picture with a phone now-a-days. I often rode the roller coaster of 'bring me up to bring me right back down.' I desperately wanted a DSLR of my own.
I pushed myself to take better photos and eventually the comments of smartphone use faded. My boss constantly gave me a boost of pride when he would call me over to a beautiful dish specifically for me to photograph it before anyone was allowed to take a bite. I was given the gift of a Nikon D3500 by my boyfriend because he believed in my talent and potential. My circle of friends and family created support for me that I never expected. I decided to take the leap.
There are no jobs out there exactly like the job I am creating for myself. I love traveling just as much as I love photography and videography. Everyone aspires to make a living doing the things they enjoy most however there wasn't a job out there for me to photograph, film, travel and change the lives of others all at the same time...until now. These realizations along with a few others were huge factors in how I decided to start a business of going on adventures with people to photograph and film their memories for them so they never forget the most precious moments in life.
This is how I will Capture Everything.
